A staple on the Myrtle Beach art scene is back open following nearly three months of closure from the COVID-19 pandemic. While the doors may have been closed, The Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum has been busy with virtual tours, online workshops for students and more. Summer plans for this TIDES Magazine Partner include wonderful exhibits, on and off-site workshops and more. Be sure to stop by and support our local art museum (and pick up a FREE copy of TIDES magazine) admission is always free and donations are greatly appreciated!
We were first in line Tuesday as they reopened to grab a tour with Patricia Goodwin, Executive Director to see what’s new for the summer and check in on procedures to keep the summer safe and creative for our community and visitors.
